TeamJMD (short for TeamJaneMcDonald) was set up on the 15th February 2013. It was created by Jolie Murrell and Katie Abbott, who are the time were sixteen years old. The page was initally set up when the girls spoke together about how there wasn't an active fanpage to support and promote Jane, and the girls wanted to do their own bit. How do the girls know each other you may ask? Jolie and Katie were friends for a year before they started speaking, and had mutual friends online through their love of Jane. Eventually, fate brought them together to speak online and they really hit it off and became best friends almost instantly. 
Katie first met Jane when she was just thirteen years old. Katie is from Preston, Lancashire. Jolie was fourteen when she met Jane and is from Norwich, Norfolk. 
Over the years, the girls have used their strengths of creative knowledge, multimedia and social media to come up with different ways of creating new content for the page to help share what Jane is doing, whether it be through videos, pictures, edits, polls and very new to 2021 - TikToks! Both girls trained in the arts in college, Katie doing acting and then a media course, and Jolie becoming a qualified photographer and also learning about social media and photoshop on the side too. The girls have travelled the length and breadth of the country to see the different performances of Jane and love nothing more than getting to see the beautiful United Kingdom. At just twenty-five years old they feel very fortunate that they have got to see so much of the beautiful country when some people twice their age haven't been able too. The girls are very passionate about what they do and have several notepads filled with different ideas, and really enjoy engaging with their follwers through the course of the day as well as getting to put faces to names at concerts, so don't be shy come and say hello!
