Jim studied music at Leeds College of Music with some of the leading jazz and contemporary musicians in the UK. 

He performs as a session musician primarily with tribute shows and has his own swing show where he delivers some classic tunes by some Swing greats!

Jim has been a valued member of Jane McDonald's band since 2015 as her percussionist and backing vocalist. He has performed duets with Jane during her touring concert shows over the years with huge success and has appeared alongside Jane's band on her TV programme 'Jane & Froends;, as well as featured backing vocals on BAFTA Awar Winning Cruising With Jane McDonald and features on both Volume 1 and 2.

Most recently, Jim has been featured on two tracks on Jane's brand new album 'Let The Light In' - Shallow and I See It In Your Eyes. We absolutely love his voice and are thrilled that he features on the album.
